Interactive documents 2.0.3

For interactive documents, standalone updates are performed. These may coincide with a minor or major release for iProva, but do not have to. This applies to both iProva on-premises and iProva SaaS.

We regularly release a minor update for interactive documents. These updates mainly fix bugs. They may also contain minor functional changes. These are improvements that make using interactive documents even easier and can be used without explanation. Larger functional changes are only made available in a major update.

Some nice changes have been made and bugs fixed in this release.

This new version was rolled out on 11 March.

Soft 'enter'

If you hit 'enter' when editing an (interactive) document, a new paragraph is started. This also automatically uses a certain line spacing. There are situations where you need an enter to start a new line but without starting a new paragraph. This is the case, for example, when you want to include an address in a document. Now it is possible to start a new line with SHIFT+ENTER just like in Microsoft Word, using the normal line spacing.

Multiple levels for bulleted and numbered lists

With 'TAB', in a bulleted or numbered list, you can give a line a lower level in your list. With SHIFT+TAB or Backspace you can increase the level of a line.

Enlarge picture

it has been made possible to enlarge images while preserving hotspots. You can now enlarge images on any device by clicking on them. The image is enlarged while always keeping the location you clicked on. As much screen space as possible is used. After enlarging, you can use pinch&zoom on a touch screen or scroll with your mouse to zoom in further as you are used to. You can also move the image to bring a different part of the image into view. Clicking on a hotspot will automatically zoom out and show the information of that hotspot.

Improved operation of drop-down panels with longer titles

Drop-down panels only had limited space for a panel's title. Especially in the mobile view, a title was quickly hyphenated as .... Now the entire title is displayed over several lines. Regardless of screen size, titles are now always easy to read.

Bug fixes

  • 60943: Emptying a text block could result in an error that prevented the document from being saved.
  • 61206: Edits in a text block were only saved after leaving the text block. As a result, it could happen that the last change was not saved automatically.
