We regularly release a minor update for iQualify. These updates mainly fix bugs. In addition, they may contain minor functional changes. These are improvements that make using iQualify even easier and can be used without explanation. Larger functional changes are only made available in a major update.

In this release, functional changes have been made and a number of bugs have been fixed. Curious about what has changed in minor release 5.6.2? We've summarised it for you on this page.

Supervising specific groups or periods of learning

As a supervisor, you now see all students who are in a location. But in some situations, you actually pay attention to a specific group. This may be because it is your responsibility to supervise only for that specific group. But it could also be, for example, that different groups may start or end at different times. With testing from home, this need has only increased. In this release, it has been made possible to filter the students shown in the supervisor dashboard. This can be done on the basis of a learning period and on the basis of groups the students are linked to. Based on groups, students can also be correctly excluded in the filter. For example, it is possible to show all students from a particular learning period, excluding those linked to the "Extra time" group. This makes it easier for the students who have to complete the test within the regular time to close the test, while the students in the "Extra time" group can still continue the test.

Multi-word querying

The behaviour of the search field in the list of questions and when adding questions to a question pool or a static test has been changed. It is now possible to search on multiple words. For example, the search returns:

intersection priority car

Answer all questions containing the words "junction", "right of way" AND "car".

The search:

car "give way"

returns all questions in which the texts "car" and "give way" appear.

Bug fixes

  • 61882: Special characters in the name of a SCORM file made it impossible to upload the file in iQualify.
  • 62128: When handling comments, when you clicked OK, the browser gave a message asking you to leave the site as if the description had not been saved.
  • 62282: After answering a question in a formative test, it did not automatically scroll to the knowledge flash.
  • 62285: The number of unhandled comments on the dashboard did not take into account questions that were deleted. As a result, in some cases more unhandled comments were shown than you can actually handle.
  • 62295: By quickly changing the filters when filtering questions for a test or question pool, the questions shown may not have been consistent with the filters used.
  • 62357: Administrators/teachers with rights for multiple organisational units did not get to see all the results they had access to based on their rights in the user results.
  • 62359: When viewing the results for a specific student for a pointer question, the answer given by the student was not visible.
  • 62360: Opening an iQualify training via an LTI link gave an error message.
  • 62406: Opening the 'My courses' page gave an error message if the user in question was linked to a learning period with long learning paths (30+ concatenated tests and/or courses).
  • 62413: On an iPad, when using Safari for a number question, no numeric keypad was displayed.
