Interactive documents 2.0.7

For interactive documents, standalone updates are performed. These may coincide with a minor or major release for iProva, but do not have to. This applies to both iProva on-premises and iProva SaaS.

We regularly release a minor update for interactive documents. These updates mainly fix bugs. They may also contain minor functional changes. These are improvements that make using interactive documents even easier and can be used without explanation. Larger functional changes are only made available in a major update.

This release contains one functional change and a number of bug fixes.

Automatic scrolling after selection button

After a choice is made at a choice button, it makes perfect sense to experience that your action produces an effect. It may be that certain content appears directly below the choice button but it is also quite possible that this happens off-screen. It may be in a completely different place somewhere further down the document. So in that case, you won't see a direct effect of your action and you will be left in despair as a reader.

In this release, this behaviour has been changed. After making a choice, the document automatically scrolls to the next block. It may be that this block has become available due to the choice made but not necessarily. This also makes answering several consecutive questions much more user-friendly, especially on a mobile device.

Bug fixes

  • 61842: The minimum column width of a table on narrow screens was relatively large, causing the column to take up unnecessary space if it contained little text.
  • 61862: An interactive document could not be printed if the document contained a non-working YouTube.
  • 61913: When inserting an image, it was sometimes added to the document in a different place than intended.
