We regularly release a minor update for iQualify. Minor updates mainly fix bugs. They may also contain minor functional changes. These are improvements that make using iQualify even easier and can be used without explanation. Larger functional changes are made available in a major update. Release 6.3.0 is a minor release in which a number of nice features have been added. Curious about what has changed in release 6.3.0? We've summarised it for you on this page. Check status.infoland.nl to see when version 6.3.0 will be released.
Show score by subtopic in results
After closing a test, the result page for dynamic tests can show the score per subtopic. This is a setting in the test properties in the learning period. This allows students to gain insight per subtopic. If the test is no longer available you lost that insight. Now this same insight is shown in the results. If the setting is set to show the score per subtopic, this is now also done on the results page. By default, this is done for the last attempt, but you can click another attempt to see the score per subtopic there.
Viewing old question versions
Usually, you only see the last published version and/or a draft version of a question. Older versions of the question were not easy to view. This is now possible. The "Activity log" tab displays a "View all versions" button if versions exist that are not yet shown on the "Draft", "Published" or "Expired" tabs. This button opens a dialogue containing all versions of that query. This allows you to look back at how the question has changed between versions.
Untreated comments during draft editing
While editing a draft question, it can be useful to see what comments have been made on the question. These are therefore now displayed to the right of where you are editing the question. This way, you can immediately use the comments as input to improve questions.
Browse tests, question pools and learning periods and more
For questions, it is possible to filter the list of questions and then open a question. At the top right, you will then see left and right arrows to go to the next or previous question. This takes into account the filter you applied to the questionnaire. In some situations, this is very useful and you would like to have it for other entities as well. We have made that possible.
For all kinds of screens where you click from a list to the detail page of a particular item, you can then use arrows to go to the previous or next item from that list. This applies to tests, question pools and learning periods. But also, for example, for tests within a learning period, results of tests, results of participants, etc. In fact, in those cases you always browse through the last level. So if you click a participant within a learning period, then click a test result and then click the right arrow, the results of the next test for that user within that learning period will be shown.
Forgot your password?
To recover or set a password for the first time via "Forgot password?", it is necessary that a password has ever been set for the user. This can be done via the import template, or manually in iQualify via the user management. Something has changed here. For new users, if no password is provided, an unknown password is automatically stored. All passwords are stored irreversibly encrypted, which also applies to this automatically generated password. The fact that a password is saved automatically makes it possible to stop setting a password for new users via the import template and still instruct users to set their own password via "Forgot password?". In this way, users can set their own password without it being known to anyone. For this, the option: Change password and forgot password at allow are set. So this applies to new users but also to users where the password is cleared. To recover or set a password, the user does need to have an e-mail address known in iQualify.
When importing users, an option for this has been added. For users who are known in iQualify and who also appear in the import file, you can indicate whether they should be overwritten. Here you now have the choice of whether this happens without the password being changed, whether it only happens if the password is entered for that user in the import file, or whether it always happens, even if it is empty in the import file. In the latter case, an existing or empty password is thus overwritten by an unknown password that cannot be retrieved either. The user then has to use "Forgot password?" set a new password. New users with no password entered will always receive an unknown password.
Learning period progress report including unstarted participants.
The Excel report "Learning period progress report" shows the progress of users. This report is based on results and therefore does not show users without results. Sometimes it is actually desirable to also show users who have no progress at all within the learning period. This report has been adapted for this purpose. When starting the report, a dialogue is shown in which the user can choose the option "Show users who have not started". If this option is selected, the report also shows all participants who were added to the learning period as participants at the time the report was started, but have not started within the learning period.
Excel report "Learning period question report" extended with RIT value
In iQualify, the questions in a test during a learning period show the P and RIT values. What exactly these values mean can be seen in this iQualify training read. Now, besides the P-value, the RIT value is also shown in a separate column in the Excel report "Reading period question report". This can make it easier to analyse questions or coherence of questions. Whether there is data in the columns depends on a number of circumstances as is already the case in iQualify itself.
Bug fixes:

- 64592: The error message at Forgot your password? has been improved.
- 64472: In the supervisor screen, deleted learning periods were shown without an end date.
- 64427: The "Test Questions" report was not printed if there was a trailing question in the test that took up more than one page.
- 64444: In user results, the status "Not started" was shown for results that had been started or completed.
