About four times a year, we release a major update for Zenya. In these updates, we introduce new features and make existing functionalities work even easier and better. These updates also ensure that Zenya is technically up-to-date.

Showing smilies when answering Yes/No questions

To make your questionnaire even more intuitive, you can now indicate in the design of your questionnaire that yes/no questions should be visualised through a smiley face. For a question with answer options "Yes" and "No", this translates into a green and a red face. If the answer option "Partly" is also offered, this translates into an orange-yellow face.

Export / Print completed questionnaire

We have made several improvements to make exporting and printing a completed questionnaire more useful.

From now on, you have more control over which parts you want to include or omit in the export or print.
This helps to keep the export or print concise and include only the information that is relevant to the user.

New is the ability to display a summary of corrective actions (Community topic) to include in the export or print.

To make the result more suitable for distribution in your organisation, a cover sheet can now also be added to the export or print. Cover sheets to choose from can be uploaded by the application manager via Application management > Questionnaires > Settings.

Finally, we revised the overall layout and layout of the export/print to achieve a more attractive and clearer result.

Thank you page questionnaire

Those who have completed a questionnaire sometimes like to keep a copy of the questionnaire themselves.
You can now facilitate that by making download and/or print buttons appear on the 'thank you' page that people see after sending the questionnaire.

You can find these options in the questionnaire design environment in the "Last page" block.

These buttons become active only for questionnaires completed from within Zenya itself. The buttons do not become active for questionnaires completed externally (i.e. via the cloud), for example in the situation where an external questionnaire survey with a permanent link is used.

Delegate completion of questionnaire task from task schedule

It is now possible to delegate a single completion task in a task schedule for completing a questionnaire to another user.

Minor improvements

As a minor improvement, the indication that a mandatory corrective action must be specified in the action plan has been modified somewhat.

Furthermore, the 'new' status is now also shown on the action plan, where it was previously omitted.

A new subscription has been added that allows document administrators to specify that they want to receive notifications when they or one of the other document administrators posts a comment on the document.

Cancel button for report forms

When starting a new report, a new button can now be found at the bottom of the report form. This 'Cancel' button can be used to cancel a draft report. This means that no concept is saved. So no draft notifications will be left open if, for example, the wrong report form is opened.

Clarifying difference between private and public

Additional info on a notification can be set to visibility 'private' or visibility 'public'. What these designations mean is not obvious. Therefore, clarifications have been added for the meaning of 'private' and 'public' when it comes to extra info on a notification.

On the admin side, tooltips have been added when setting permissions on the notification type, and when creating e.g. a new note as additional info, the visibility setting labels have been given clearer text.

Adopt field value in workflow action

At a status transition in a notification type, the action 'set field value' can be chosen. An addition to this action is that it can now be chosen to set that field value with the value from another field (of the same type) on the notification. While copying the field value, restrictions (such as validation) on the field are not taken into account.

In the reporting module, a number of fields have been made easier to search. This concerns the dialogue box for selecting organisation units, (norm) frames, and specific items within (norm) frames.

Organisational unit

For now, only the selection fields for organisational units where you can view multiple organisational units have been addressed. Reports where only 1 organisational unit can be selected will still show the old selector.
