Every 2 to 4 weeks, we release a minor update for iQualify. These updates mainly fix bugs. In addition, they may contain minor functional changes. These are improvements that make using iQualify even easier and can be used without explanation. Larger functional changes are only made available in a major update.

In this release, functional changes have been made and a number of bugs have been fixed. Curious about what has changed in minor release 5.5.1? We've summarised it for you on this page.

P and RIT value in static tests in learning period

In iQualify's secure test environment, the Secure Test Environment (STE), static tests display the P and RIT value for each question. With this release, the P and RIT values are also shown for static tests in the regular test environment. Based on this data (and any comments), you as test creator can determine that some questions within this test are better not used because the p-value is very low or very high, for example. It is also possible that they make no or a negative contribution (negative RIT value) to what you want to measure with the test. So, based on this information, you may want to adjust the question or no longer use it in this context in a test.

Place comment on question example

When composing a test or question pool, you can now immediately post a comment or open the question. At that moment, questions are often critically examined to see if they can be included in the selection. If there are then reasons to place a comment or possibly adjust the question directly, this is now easily possible.

Status in the waiting room in supervisor screen

Of students sitting in the waiting room ready to start a test, the status is now shown in the supervisor screen. This allows you to distinguish the students who have successfully registered and are ready from those who are not yet registered. The example also reminds you that you can search all columns in the search field to make a selection of users.
